A soundcard tsr I use automatically loads itself in upper memory(no other options given), which crashes some games. I found loading it in conventional memory fixes this but the only way I can do this is by disabling all UMB which greatly decreases memory available.

Is there a way to force a Dos TSR that automatically loads to UMA in to conventional memory.

If it's smart enough to detect that there's no UMB available, maybe you can temporarily load a dummy that fills up the UMB first, then load your sound card TSR which will see no free UMB and go into conventional memory, then unload the dummy.
