Hello,

are there any patches or tweak to make Win 98 read the correct cpu in the computer properties page? Cause the early Pentium III 600Mhz on a 440BX is read as "GenuineIntel Pentium II Intel MMX..." even when updated to the latest o.s. patches. Is it cause these mainboard were not supposed to support this cpu but some did up to the 600Mhz Katmai core or is more a o.s. problem that wasn't solved cause already at the end of its lifetime?
