Hi all

I had 3 partitions installed on a CF card.
DOS
WIN95
WIN98

My CF card died and I have a backup of all the directories.
I've installed DOS again on SC2000.

Can I re-create Windows 95 + 98 using the folders I have? I tried to make a new partition on SC, then removed the cf card to my modern pc, copied all the files,
And I'm getting a registery error when I try to start "win.com"

I also tried to install WIN95 again,
Made a new partition, insert floppy win95 boot disket, but I Don't have a CD of Windows.
What I did is after that part, removed the CF card, put it in my modern pc, and then just copied the setup files on C:/Win95

Setup.exe is initialized but I'm getting an error that Windows has found already installed, and that I need to use an upgraded cd.
I don't have any windows installed on that partition, only the WIN95 setup folder...

No, I can see only the Multifat partition which is DOS.
And the new clean partition.

What I have found is that if I continue with the installation of windows 95 after OS Wizard, I insert the boot disket.
I can only see A: and C: which is empty.

If I take out the CF card to my modern pc in order to copy WIN95 setup files to the new C: partition
I then can see DOS partition as D:

Maybe it finds out dos installed because now I can see another drive?
