nvm solved, my computer properties for zlman usb cdrom ticked sync transfer. Also using CDSlow 5.2 set speed to 8x from 16x when full measured.. installed 😁

Just for reference, dvd image was showing bsod issues on 440bx whilst installing office 2000 from DocRetro's Windows me collection dvd1. On my socket 462 xp 2800+ didn't have to mess with cdslow 5.2, it just worked. Both systems have restored image of Time Computers J01GB2 backup on them.

Don't know if vanilla win98 had issues picking up on dvd iso using iodd
