I'm trying to install Windows 98 on a Toshiba Portege 7000CT. It's a Pentium 2 and should be capable. But it hangs at "Copying files needed for Windows Setup...".
I am booting from a CompactFlash card that is formatted FAT32 and is already bootable to DOS. I have the girls already copied to a folder C:\WINCD where I am running setup.exe. This is always how I install Windows. Why might it be falling here?
The CompactFlash card is 4GB, the size as the drive I removed.
Edit:
Nevermind. I rebooted and it worked the second time around.
