Hi all. I've done a couple of videos showcasing the Beam Screensaver 1.73 & 2.00 from

https://beamscreensaver.com/index.html

They only work on old video card drivers and the developers gave me master keys for folks to install and use since the registration payment gateway has been defunct since about 2010

https://youtu.be/LRwqivyx4Cw & https://youtu.be/4FSVP3dmU7A are the links.

All the installers and reg keys are hosted off my Google drive from the video description links. Both are fantastic space battle screensavers and well worth adding to your retro software libraries!

Windows 2000 / XP / VISTA;
OpenGL drivers with support for GLSL and Shaders v2.0 or higher;
CPU 1.0 GHz or higher;
100 MB of free hard disk space for main installation;
at least 50 MB of free hard disk space for each Theme

I tested both versions on win 7 x64 laptop with 8600 GT. Surprising enough I could get the older non supported version to run correctly by tweaking opengl compatibility to NV1x in rivatuner. But The same tricks do not work on the newer vista version. I used driver 177.66.

The old version says it works with 3dfx cards since its open GL, I'll give it a go on 98se somtime.
