I seem to have a problem with how Epic Pinball runs through MS-DOS in Windows 98, and I'm not sure if it's because of the speed of my CPU.

It usually happens when starting anything but the Super Android table, and it crashes with a "This program has performed an illegal operation" error. Rarely do I have a chance to play those tables.

Should I be using a CPU speed program to slow down the CPU?

I use a 1Ghz Pentium III.

It is one of these games that tends to run better in MS-DOS mode, nothing to do with the CPU. If it crashed because of that, it would be something like "Runtime Error 200".
