I'm trying to play Descent in FreeDOS, but I need to use both DOS32A and a slowdown program. I'm currently using MoSlo, but I cannot run something like C:drivers\moslo\moslo.com C:freedos\bin\dos32a.exe C:games\descent\descent.exe because MoSlo can't run stuff with command line parameters. Is there a way to slowdown stuff with command line parameters? If not, does anybody know where the file is to replace DOS4GW with DOS32A inside of the descent.exe file?

Depending on the motherboard chipset and if don't like the barebones HUD in Descent, there is another slowdown utility that relies on ACPI throttling called Throttle. Add the -C command line switch when using it to avoid disabling the L1 cache.

BTW, you can replace the DOS/4GW extender found in the Descent executable with DOS32/A by using the SUNSYS Bind Utility (SB.EXE):

sb /r descent.exe
