Hy
I have a IBM 486 Notebook with Dock Station and Stereo Loudspeakers installed ISA Yamaha Audician 32 Sound card Set-up with setupsa /s command, and a Dreamblaster x2gs daughter card.
Many game has sound without problem, midi working, sb pro mode working sometimes with softmpu, sometimes without softmpu, but the Game cd-man and defender of the crown has no sound, but it turned on at the game settings.
How can i fix it?

I had a problem recently with a game hanging and it was because I had WSS sharing resourced with SB, like you do with the IRQ. Try changing the WSS IRQ to 7 (for example).

I've found Audicians to be very unreliable - as if they don't reset properly. Try going into the text-mode setup screen and pressing the keyboard buttons to test the digital and OPL sound a few times until you get an audible response. Then exist the setup program and try your game. That's the only way I've managed to get my Audician to reliably work (I've since replaced it).

I ask a friend with dos pc to test this games.
Sound come from pcspeaker attached to mainboard.
I think this games has no support for sound card.
