Hello all,

I was playing Tomb Raider 1 today, and in level 3, lost valley, I noticed brown rectangles and lines around all the bushes, plants, and trees in the valley. Also the broken pieces of bridge laying on the floor are super glitchy when you walk by it.
I am using a diamond monster 3d in combination with a tnt2 m64 pci in a pentium 200 non mmx system.
I was using diamond driver 1.08 on this card, and upgrading to 1.10 didnt change anything.
I started googling to address this issue, but i couldnt find specific topics about the same issue.

I am posting this in software, but it could also be a problem with the video hardware.

Hopefully some of you can help me 😀

best regards, Arno

Hello.

For the brown rectangles and lines, have you disabled mipmapping in the menu options? It has issues with the 3dfx version when it is enabled.

Another thing that you could do is to disable anti-aliasing, which is done by pressing the F3 key. This would remove outlines on certain polygons.
