I have a CT3930, which has been working well in DOS. I tried to install the drivers for Win 3.11, 1st using the official Creative installer, s16dw3up.exe & awedw3up.exe. It installed, but no sound or see it loaded. Then tried installing it in Control Panel -> Drivers, but get this error

file.php?mode=view&id=174347
What does that mean? Also, don't know if there's any error log to check?
What settings can I tweak to fix it?

Hi. 🙂 These drivers are just the basic drivers or their updates.
If I'm not mistaken, there's a full version of the drivers on the AWE32 and/or AWE64 CD-ROM (hardware is virtually the same).
It also has the EMU8000 sound font(s) for General MIDI, MT-32 and so on.

You're right. I did the full install and success! Thanks. I installed the update, awedw3up.exe, and it was also fine.
The strange thing is the drivers installed are,

"Creative Sound Blaster 16 Wave and MIDI"
"Creative Sound Blaster 16 Auxiliary Audio"
"Sound Blaster AWE32 MIDI Driver"
"Voyetra / Sound Blaster SuperSAPI FM Driver"

That doesn't match the driver names in the screenshot. I forgot where the oemsetup.inf for those unknown drivers even came from.
"SB AWE32 MIDI Synthesizer"
"SB AWE32 Wave/Aux/Mixer/MidiPort"
