Hi, so I was wondering if I could run the GOG version of the first Alan Wake on Win XP? The oldest supported OS listed here https://www.gog.com/en/game/alan_wake is Win 7, but as far as I know, the retail DVD release of the game listed Win XP as a minimum.

Win98 rig: Athlon XP 2500+/512MB RAM/Gigabyte GA-7VT600/SB Live!/GF FX5700/Voodoo2 12MB
WinXP rig: HP RP5800 - Pentium G850/2GB RAM/GF GT530 1GB
Amiga: A600/2MB RAM
PS3: Slim model, 500GB HDD, mostly for RetroArch, PSX & PS2 games

I don't rebuy games so I have the Steam release and somehow an Epic release that must have been free at some point.

The Epic version uses newer exe and dlls than the Steam version but both work on XP. The EPIC dlls are dated 5/21/2020.

Likely the GOG and Epic versions are the same since the EPIC version doesn't have any DRM while the steam ver does so should be good.
