I have Mech 2 v1.1 installed for DOS running inside Windows 98. Flawless in every way with audio and sound.

Using a SB LIVE CT4830 gameport connected to a Wingman digital 3D.

Trying to figure out how to configure the settings for it to communicate properly. During the calibration stage after setting up which joystick you have, I’m getting funky behavior from the calibration window. Mainly the joystick glitching all over the place with the input from the X-Y axis.

Throttle input during gameplay is similar to you winging the throttle up and down as fast as you can with no input from the actual user doing anything at all.

I believe part of this is an issue with the GP on the SB card itself. Anyone have any tips or pointers for sorting out the functionality? Better/best drivers?

CH pro mode is what I’m attempting to use via the in game settings.

I do have a MS precision pro joystick as well that I’ve tested with the same behavior.

I will add that the joystick (wingman) and Game port function fine in Mechwarrior 3 and 4 outside of DOS. I know there’s a config or a driver somewhere out there!

Thanks guys.
