I remember a long time ago creating multiple configurations on a DOS 6.2 computer. I want a resource online which provides instructions on how to do this.

Look help.com from your dos installation. It is so easy.

I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.

I no longer have DOS 6.2, and DOS 7.1, which ships with Windows 98SE, doesn't have help.com. 🙁

Actually it does, but it's not copied to hard drive during installation.
Look on the CD in \tools\oldmsdos and you will find help.com (among others).

Also the MS-DOS manual explains it well. You can find a scan on archive.org.

Thank you. I have the OEM CD with its contents extracted to a folder on the hard drive--in a folder in the desktop. I can do that soon. I just need to do a few things first.

An alternative would be to search on the famous website www.vogons.org
