Hi guys,
I have a MPU IPC-T unit with its card installed in a machine that also has an SB16 ASP. The MPU unit feeds to an MT-32 rev.0.
I want all MIDI in DOS to use the MPU, so I have the jumpers on the cards as follows:
MPU IPC-T:
IRQ 2/9, Port 330
SB16:
Port 220, IRQ 7, DMA 1, HDMA 5, MIDI 300
Everything works great with what I've tested so far (Sierra games, Might & Magic 3). But two games are giving me grief:
* Curse of Enchantia
* Prehistorik
Both when selecting MT-32 for music seem to never interface with the MPU IPC-T. The MT-32 stays idle, and of course no music is heard.
I haven't reconnected MIDI to the SB16's gameport, but I'm guessing if I do, then I would find that those games are choosing the SB's MIDI port 300 instead of 330.
I tried adjusting the BLASTER env var to P330, but that still didn't work.
Any ideas what can be done to have those two games properly use the MT-32?
Thanks!
