You can listen to the video above to see if the sound is more comfortable and better than other SC8850 videos.

For optimal listening pleasure i recommend gold plated optical cables.

Ironically I have some gold plated RCA cables from when I worked at RadioShack, some discontinued items I got for free. Not every cable I use is gold plated, mind you. 😉

Isn't gold the best light transmitting medium? 😁

Our supplied voltage is AC. The assumed cable length is 2 Meter. The assumed loss is 3%. Assuming both ends of the cable have proper connection.Screenshot 2023-09-26 210738.png
The optimal cable thickness is 0.0005mm² .
Everything above that will make no difference.
In american freedom units its the same story...
??
These have nothing to do with sound quality
He just gave you the optimal wiring diameter for the 8850. Anything other than that is just wasting money and materials.
As long as the device is earthed properly then there should be no difference what mains cable you use.

Superstition aside, the SC-8850 does have a polarized C7 socket, but amusingly it was sold with a non-polarized wall plug cord in most regions. I'm assuming the reason is simply regulatory compliance, and not technical?
It'd be money, wouldn't it?
