I did not find any clear information.
One info that CT5806 is SB 16(16 voices?) and CT5808 is SB128(128 voices?). One has FM support(opl3?) and not midi wave table and the other no FM support but wave table. How is it? how about the other CT5805 and CT5807
Will any of these provide me with SB support without emulation issues?

First I got a ES1938S then later CMI8738, both have issues with dos games when testing SB sound the dos window freezes in Win98 and in "restart to dos". I found maybe its because of my motherboard m2a-vm(in a case that requires low profile PCI Cards), lacking "Non Maskable interrupts (NMI's)" required for sb emulation.

And in device manager for CMI8738 in the Settings tab, what I choose for 'irq dos emulation'? it is good or bad to change the irq 7(from 5) if Windows 98 in the Resources tab assigned irq 7 the the pci card so they match?
