It seems a SC-8820 inside there . The seller said it was very new and there were 8 of them in total. The price is 150 Chinese yuan each.

Sound generator chips is Roland RA09-002, This chip was used in SC-8820, But CPU is Hitachi H8/510

It looks like someone took some Roland/Edirol hardware boards out of eRecycling and coupled them with a new I/O board to make a new MIDI module. I wouldn't be surprised if it works relatively well, at least for a time.
