I want to switch from emulating DOS to using real hardware, but the sound has always been inferior to DOSBox with the sound cards I've tried in the past.

I recently found a CT2920 (Sound Blaster 16 PnP) with something called a WaveImpact Q32 on the Wave Blaster header. Might that combo be worth reviving the project?
