As long as they work fine I don't mind Soviet ICs as well... 😀

Cheers!Didn't understand. "PCB + parts + bracket" or "Assembled PCB + bracket"? 😕
Sorry for that Fagear.
I meant "Assembled PCB + bracket" without SID.
The more sound cards, the better.

Wouldn't it still make sense to put the POTX/Y lines of the SID on a header (maybe decouple them via 470pF caps like on the real C64)? That way you should be able to gain enough PCB space to put everything on the Daughterboard on the main PCB.

Maybe worth considering a coop?

I've made the order for prototype of last revision of the board. I'll check that everything is fine, that 3.5" jacks are aligned well and I didn't screw it all up.
After that I'll order brand new boards with all bells and whistles (solder mask, silkscreen...) for the first batch of the new board.
Sorry for long waiting, I've been busy a little bit around here. 🙄
awesome, thanks for the update!!!! can't wait to see the new batch 😁
Awesome, this will be very much well worth the money and the wait!!
Got informed that my order is already in progress. Maybe it'll be shipped to me this week.
Russian post take some less time to deliver within the country, I think it'll take about 3-7 days, so maybe i will get prototype this week already!
Already want to touch it... 🤣
^ I like what I see, like candy ready to be picked up 😁
Finally, got the latest prototype of the board. 🤣
Connectors are a bit off, so I'm glad that I didn't ordered new batch of PCBs with these offsets.
Joystick port and 3.5mm jacks are too close and joystick port is a bit too high comparing to an old ISA board. And 3.5mm jacks are too far from edge of the board.
I've already fixed all these issues in my project, so I'm ready to order new batch and I will do it soon.
^ awesome!!!! thanks for the update! can't wait to see the final version now
This looks so cool, I can't wait to see it finished!! 😲

I'm very sorry for delay, new PCBs are not ordered yet. 😢 I'm going to find new job to get some money for this project.
All parts have been delivered to me, so the only thing is missing - is new PCB.
I also have money issues right now that prevent me from funding the project. Does the idea of funding via Kickstarter seem sound?

Alternatively: the german "Verein zum Erhalt klassischer Computer" (club for preservation of classic computers) offers prototype funding - only requirements are that all files (schematics, pcb files, docs) are put up for public usage and their name getting mentioned. They also offer hosting for the files.

I will gladly support that crowdfunding!!

Fagear, what amount of $ is required to place the batch order? Also, what is the estimated cost of one card exemplar for an end user?

Good questions Bristlehog, maybe everybody that wants a replica could pay in advance. I guess that would help.
