I wanted to turn off some of the MIDI effects of the Creative S/W synth (the ECW sound bank synth) on my SB Live sound card. It seems that the default driver install enables the chorus and reverb effects on the synth, which I found that the chorus effect is a little annoying..

I haven't found the setting or registry value to turn that off somehow. Although I remembered that in SB PCI soundcards (also sometimes known as ES1370 or ES1371), there is a setting in the default Windows mixer that enables/disables that effect.

Do you know how to do that in the SB Live Windows 98 VXD or WDM drivers? Thank you.
