Does anyone have a Ready to Run Package with all Drivers inside, SBOS, MEGAEM and all Patchsets already added ?
i going to reinstall my ARGUS Prototype in the 486.
But its really annoying to dig all stuff on the net only to find out its for GF1 or its the Wrong Patchset etc.

Thank you very much, i`m very happy with my Prototype Board 😀

Registration for the reduced run closed for now.
Everyone who messaged me should have a reply with further details now.

Now that the registration for the reduced run have opened, is there anyone willing to either:

1. Solder the interwave chip on behalf of other buyers?
2. Order parts in bulk and solder complete board for others?

The interwave chip was supposed to be pre-soldered earlier in the project, but that has since changed. At the current moment I fear that is a bit too advanced for my soldering skills and equipment.

You're probably already aware of the Driver CD on vogonsdrivers? ->
http://vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=1 … menustate=48,37

As far as I remember, it did quite painlessly install sbos, megaem and basic patches and also deals with setting up config.sys and autoexec.bat.
Or are you looking for much more than that, like integrated propatches also (like the package available on retronn.de for the GF1)?

Personally, I went the way of installing from the above CD and then just add propats afterwards. All game driver patches can then still be just copied over from the full package on retronn.de).

Additionally this one when building your ARGUS, as it contains gravnocd.rom required for initial flashing of the serial eeprom.

Another short delay ... originally wanted to start collecting $$$ this week but will delay that til next week.
On the positive side, I just recieved invoices for various sizes of runs for the ARGUS and 300 shipping boxes ... so things are getting real.

Delay for the "invoices" til next sunday due to work related crap (last day on thursday ... hoorj!). I'll also set the deadline for transfering to the funds to the 10th of January 2021.
In case you haven't messaged me your country yet (only applies for those who got confirmation for the Covid-19 run), you can still do so.

Cards will already be ordered up front from my personal money, so that delay gets compensated.

Got a bit distracted yesterday and today by this: https://i.imgur.com/V0Y0fyv.jpg (basically rebuilding the LPT port on a ZX clone for use with Covoxes ... took me a bit to get things working properly as some inputs were unintentially left unconnected in the layout [but not schematic] - fun time figuring that out).

ARGUS "Invoices" will be sent off tomorrow night at worst.

Using the russian ULA1/ULA-216/Т34ВГ1/T34VG1 you can go quite small -> https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=t … tpd7mw&usqp=CAU - basically allowing you to build a Spectrum with just 5 ICs (CPU, ROM, 2x RAM, ULA).
I prefer the discrete TTL-graveyards tho, since you can adjust virtually everything 😉

Hi shock__, is this run open to all or still only previous donors? If it's open I'm definitely interested!

Previous donors only ... I guess a realistic estimate for a public run would be in 1 year ... at best.
