I will jump on it at a later point when funds permit... I did input my company's VAT info but I was still charged VAT.
I don't know what "chamber of commerce" number thing is, so I left it blank - maybe that's why it didn't work. The only thing that comes to mind is the company registration number in a Greek public agency but I never had to use it when ordering / got invoiced, this is just an internal serial number so they can check if you pay fees/etc.
Just curious what the deal is, some sort of new regulation?

Well you've got a point, automatic validation of the VAT nr does not yet work (it needs to be validated to a database http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/ normally, before an invoice can be issued). For now it requires me to manually check and adjust your order setting to 'VAT transferred', and I would refund the excess VAT.
I will try to set up the automatic flow for this on my webshop, later (first work on X2!!!).
For now, so if you have an EU company VAT number, best to contact me after your order so I can check + refund.

There's an error on Black Friday page about the discount. Actual discount is about 19% and not 44% 😉 But if you consider discounted prices the actual discount is 7%.

Yeah you are right, the logic how the webshop calculates these percentages is quite evil optimistic 🤣 , the other way around than you'd expect, and always based on the original price. (I didn't type that percentage there, it pops up automatically).

EDIT: Oh I checked again and get it now : it says '44% on accessories', the accessory is the S1.
That's how it works with the bundle, I had entered 25% reduction on the S1 when bought together with X1.
The webshop shows total reduction on S1 compared to original price, it seems 😈 .

Hi FuzzyLogic. Yes, you have a good point in theory, and I did ask this to my accountant before.
I follow his recommendation now : for small orders (<500 euro) just charge Belgian VAT, as if it was purchased locally, to avoid extra costs and overhead. This is accepted by Belgian Tax authorities.
Alternative, to consider for larger orders, is 'official export' : I need a proof of EU-export (from Customs) for each exported order, otherwise VAT is due anyway.
My accountant in fact recommended to sell within EU only, and use a distributor in the target country (or at least go through a pro shipping company), if I want to export this way, so that all is handled correctly. (But I don't have such large orders).

My webshop is a small 'evening' operation, during the working day I am usually off to work.
So currently I post worldwide shipments as a letter or registered letter, at the local post office (there is no competing packet/postal service office in town).
It would be much more expensive and time consuming to do it otherwise.
I will investigate alternatives (anyone here on the forum with experience in exporting outside EU from Belgium, may pm me with ideas?),
and might add an alternative 'export' shipping option, in the long term, if it makes sense. (Would try it out once first, anyway).
In short term I don't see any good alternative, and think the cheapest 'correct' method is what I do now.
So sorry for the tax...

Anyway I'd love to focus on fine tuning X2 features for you all the coming days, more info coming soon.

Well I can tell you already, there will be 2 windows tools, that lift it above the average waveblaster card :

1/ Preset Editor : Edit acoustic configuration patch files (.DXP = DreamBlaster X2 Preset File Format) :
Options I am working on are : Detailed Reverb/Room and Chorus characteristics, 2 band equalizer, output gain setting and Swap Stereo L/R
This allows to customize sound characteristics to match your taste and setup.

2/ X2 USB uploader tool : upload a soundbank (.DXB) and acoustic preset file (.DXP) to the card. The soundbank and preset are stored in flash on the card and loaded at powerup. So you don't need any TSR or sysex commands when used in DOS or any other project.

By the way, besides plugging on a soundcard's waveblaster pin header, you can also use X2 as an USB-MIDI module with dosbox (for example).

Yes this is possible, a bank can have any amount of instruments MIDI allows.
First in the pipeline are a high end piano bank, and a chiptune bank, but general midi soundbank is definitely planned, it will take me some more time to get the conversion right, and I must respect copyright of course. The dream bank is amazing by the way, you'll love it, I will provide it as a file so you can swap to a different bank and swap back to the dream GM bank.

What does the tracked delivery cover? Is it delivered by courier (door to door) to the end user?
I'm asking because the Post in Romania tends to require ID with a matching address on it.
Once we sort out the logistics I'm in for a pack of X2+S1.

So far I use bPost (Belgian Post) service for this : send as a registered priority airmail letter (with tracking number).
To receive the packet, you will normally you have to sign off at the door to receive, or they will leave a note so you can pick it up at the post office with your ID.
Strictness of this procedure seems to depend on your country's postal service, but of course it is important to triple check your shipping address and name.

If you choose the non-tracked shipping, it is sent as a normal airmail priority letter, no tracking number, no signoff.
