Hello,

I recently stumbled into this forum while I was looking to learn how to use DOSBox. I was looking to make a couple of good demo videos of my Roland CM-500 module in action with the idea of listing it for sale. But now I'm hooked on DOSBox. Now I can't stop playing Commander Keen 4. Anyway, thanks to this forum for the help. I thought you all might appreciate listening the module in action in these demo videos I have made:

Good Lord, this takes me straight back to 1992. I feel fuzzy.

Thanks again!

A CM-500 is certainly a somewhat prized and rare sound module. You could absolutely fetch a decent price for selling it. However, hopefully playing with DOSBox has rekindled something that you haven't quite experienced since you were a kid. The joy of these older games and being able to relive them exactly as they used to be and as we remember them can't really be replaced and could even be worth more to you.

I'd encourage you to really have fun with DOSBox and explore some of these older software titles (perhaps some you remember and others you never had the opportunity to play). If you still think you're better off selling it, at least you gave it one last whirl for old time's sake. Or just maybe... you'll hang on to it. Either way... welcome to the forums and enjoy!

I am a little confused at the relationship between Keen 4 and a CM-500, but other than that, I would keep it for now. Unless money is hard up it might be hard to get one again.
