I was wondering, is there any way to use pci soundcard’s SB-link ability on the MOBO, that does not have SB-link, but has at least one ISA-slot.

Example: some kind of DIY ISA-card, which takes needed signals to the soundcard’s SB-link connector? Or just soldering wires to ISA-slot somehow.

I did not find anything about this kind of thing by googling? Has anyone ever try make something like this? Impossible?

If your motherboard doesn't support SB-Link or the other sideband schemes, there's a good chance the ISA bus is provided by a third party bridge chip which can be quite dodgy when it comes to sound support. Which board and card are you thinking of? Perhaps they can be made to work?
