I recently added Turtle Beach Multisound Classic/Tahiti support to Terminal Velocity and noticed that I can choose up to 22050 sample rate. While with ESS688 the maximum is 11025. Is there a possibility to set up a higher sample rate with another hardware? Gravis Ultrasound comes to mind, but I have none to test.

Terminal Velocity's sound system seems to limit sampling rate to 22050 if Stereo mixing is picked and 44100 if Mono is picked. It's likely the engine is developed around the Sound Blaster Pro or something.

Gravis Ultrasound support in the game is a massive hack, relies on the ULTRAMID TSR, cannot do stereo yet it allows you to select it.
