I have installed SImCity 2000 onto my Pentium 66 Socket 4 32mb RAM build. It has a CT2740 Sound Blaster 16 installed. I have been able to get every game so far to work with the sound card in SB16 mode. SimCity however will only work in original sound blaster mode. The IRQ settings and all are set the same as every other game I have installed that do work. Is there something special about SC2000 that needs to be changed to get SB16 sounds going?

What IRQ are you using?

According to this page, SimCity 2000 doesn't like IRQ7.

I'm going to test my sound card tonight after visiting ye olde DMV and copying everything from the 2.5" IDE HDD to the 3.5" IDE I pulled from a dysfunctional Power Mac G3/400 (going to take the PSU out as well).
