Finally some demos of games of this non GM conform great sound card.
I like the card. Unfortunately I was not lucky to get one.
Does it now work under DOS too? I think you did a lot of work with the Miles drivers. Right?

It works under DOS. I did some work but not enough for it to function flawlessly. There are two problems with it, both concerning MIDI playback: the presets are loaded incorrectly by DOS utility, and the Miles driver won't play drum part correctly (even if presets are correctly loaded). But the first can be avoided by running Windows 3.1 with Multisound drivers which load preset correctly, then exiting Windows. To fight off second one I modified Miles driver to remap GM drums to Proteus ones on-the-fly. The results are worse than in Multisound Windows drivers but acceptable anyway. My version of driver is here.

For digital sound playback, there's DIGPAK driver. Despite only few games support Multisound out of the box, you nevertheless can add the DIGPAK driver to any game using DIGPAK and off you go. For example, I managed to run Terminal Velocity on Multisound.

Really not liking the wood pipe instrument (think lead melody) on the Monkey Island Intro. It sounds more like a percussion instrument. Of course I'm not sure what I'm basing this on since I have an MT32 and an SC55 I might be remembering how those sound and that wouldn't be a fair comparison...

It sounds percussive, but I don't have a problem with that. Have to admit though that MT-32 flute sounds better.

I think Monkey Island sounds pretty good, the MT-32 does sound better but I think the card does a good job at making it sound plesant to listen. No instrument stands out to me as unfitting for the song. Warcraft 2 on the other hand doesn't impress me to much.

I'm definitely interessted to hear more from the card.
