You can try out RemapCMI by noop. This maps legacy ports to the PCI ports of the card, works fine for FM and MPU-401 on games not requiring DOS extenders.

Thanks for the link, Kamerat! It's very informative.
I also enjoyed learning a bit about Ad Lib Gold and Dune. 😀

Hm. It finds Sound Blaster, good. What happens if you press "l" (Multimedia) ?
When I tried ~8 years ago, the working card looked like this..

Interesting. Your card reports a newer DSP than mine did way back in the early 2010s (4.12 vs 3.02).

Not sure if that revision is real or just an illusion. (To mimic a specific Sound Blaster DSP.).

I'd try different drivers now. Starting with CMI8X38D.zip w/ setaudio.com v1.98,
then 38dosv2.zip w/ setaudio.com v1.3 and so on.

I know, this isnt really what you expected, sorry. 😢

It's just so that I'm nolonger up-to-date with these things.
I sold large parts of my retro collection yerars ago (I had to).

I hope maybe Kamerat or another helpful soul has one or two
advices left he/she can share with you.
