Trying to get this working in DOS. I'm using the AWE32 install disk (is there a seperate one for SB32PNP?)

I run the installer and it doesn't detect the card at any of the 4 I/O port options.

Am I using the wrong driver?

is the card bad?

Or do I have a conflict such that none of those four ports are open?

I have no clue what I'm doing! If you want to watch me fumble through all my retro projects, you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrDavejustdave

You used this: http://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=311 ??

I don't believe there are separate drivers for the SB32. I even use the Aweutil in win9x with mine and I do at least get software treble and bass equalizer access.

I will check my machine when I get home (I have a CT 3600) and try to see if I can find which package I installed with it. I did have a bit of a headache with it myself IIRC in straight dos. I do believe I had vibra 16 drivers working with it, but then you can't do 1mb sound fonts which ruins it. The driver I provided above should work, assuming there is no hardware conflict happening.

Sup. I like computers. Are you a computer?
