I just bought this Reveal card off eBay and can't find any information on it. I'm not sure if it is called the "TM" or if that is just a very large trademark. I think it is a clone of an Aztech card, but I don't know which one. I am considering peeling off the Reveal stickers but would rather not if anyone is already familiar with this card. Can anyone point me to a set of drivers?

Looks very similar to a board I have which came as a part of a bundle I bought new way way back. It was part of a complete multimedia upgrade kit with a double speed cd, sound card that looks a lot like the one you have there, speakers. Also a couple of cd titles (Megarace and Grolier). Can't recall the compatibility off the top of my head. I know I have the original installation floppies kicking about here somewhere.

Thanks for the advice all. I tried the MAD16 (Opti 929) drivers from Phil's Computer Lab's website, and the card was not recognized. I'll probably peel off the stickers soon . . . for science.

Thanks again. I tried 929D_W, and when I ran the install program, it reported that I did not have a sound card installed.

OK, I removed the sticker from the controller, and it is a CompuMedia (C-Media) ASC-9308. I never associated CompuMedia and C-Media until now. Anyone have drivers for it?

Assuming the other chip is DSP-9309A and according to Need help with sound card identyfication , you might want to try Terratec Maestro 32 (2nd edition) or Gallant SC-6000 drivers

See http://laurent.caprani.free.fr/sc-6000/#IDAUFM3

I have taken the liberty to attach the pertinent files .

But the drivers, good question. I'd started trying Turtle Beach Monte Carlo 929. If not, then different Terratec Maestro 16.

Both of those are Opti 929 based . This Reveal TM V1.10 is not .

Thank you -- these drivers worked! Haven't done much testing other than the rudimentary, but it does seem to work just fine.

Its a clone of the Gallant SC6000. Also Terratec Maestro 16 is equal.

IMHO a very good Signal-To-Noise Ratio. Also non-PnP.

Drivers I use available @ http://terratec.ultron.info/Audio/Maestro/16/Driver/

01.12.2019 13:27 1095829 M16CS_Drv_3x_Disk1.exe
01.12.2019 13:27 710908 M16CS_Drv_3x_Disk2.exe
01.12.2019 13:27 144942 M16CS_Drv_9x_1.20.zip
01.12.2019 13:27 269389 M16CS_Drv_OS2_1.04.exe

in particular since it uses the CS4248-KL

Unzip M16CS_Drv_3x_Disk1.exe. Then Extract mix-set.exe from gal6n.lzh to your drivers directory.
Unzip M16CS_Drv_9x_1.20.zip. Then Extract to your drivers directory.

run gsetup.exe inside Driver Directory. A Line is added to config sys. Don't move it, it has to be loaded before HIMEM.SYS

in autoexec.bat add

SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T4 (or whatever you configured via jumpers and gsetup)
C:\DRIVERS\MIX-SET.EXE /M:15 /WAV:15 /FM:12 /CD:12 /MIC:0 /LINE:0 /ADCS:LINE /Q

Also. If you use an external Midi Module like MT-32 or SC-55 add http://bjt42.github.io/softmpu/ since I had several system hangs without it.
add to autoexec as well
LH C:\DRIVERS\SOFTMPU.EXE /SB:220 /IRQ:7 /MPU:330 /RA50

You can install SB Pro Drivers in Windows 3.11
In Windows 95 too. Or use the Drivers in the Drivers Directory from M16CS_Drv_9x_1.20.zip. Either way manually add MPU-401 and Gameport as well since it will not be recognized by the OS because it is not PnP.

Thanks for the update and extra info, this got sound working on my Dual-Technologies PMD-5500 laptop, which doesn't otherwise have Windows 95 drivers 😀
Works really well in games too, though it seems to have put itself on IRQ 5 & DMA3. Non standard but selectable in most setup menus.

Sorry, this maybe a bit late for you. I have just purchased a Mitac 4466 (486dx2/66) which has this exact soundcard (reveal v1.10, FCcC id: JZ5SC-60G), with a reveal cdrom player. It is a rebadged Voicon Systems Inc. (Taiwan) soundcard . The hdd seems to have dos and win 3.1 drivers on it (Reveal Sc400), so if needed, once I've reassembled it (currently stripped down to retrobrite the awful front panel) I can upload drivers...

If they're not too big, you can zip them and post them here as attachments .

Not sure if these are the version you are looking for but here are the images of my driver disks for the SC400. They are the disks I got with a multimedia upgrade kit.
