Just wondering what is the best way to remove the socketed ASP / CSP chip on a SB16 card? I'd like to transplant one of these socketed chips from one model to another model. Thanks a lot for any suggestions people.

PLCC extractor is the safest way. With a screwdriver you need to go slow and steady and pry the chip out in very small increments on both sides. Tiny bit on one side, then other, repeat. Eventually the chip is out.

Thanks a lot! I checked ebay, and there is one that is listed as 98mm. Is that the correct size? Thank you.

EDIT: Sorry, I see now, the 98mm is the width "span" of the device. It is not really important. I have just ordered a simple cheap device from ebay. Thanks a lot for the suggestion! Much appreciated.
