Hi

I have a msi 7061-ver1.0 motherboard https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/KM3MV … iver&Win%202000
I have installed the driver for the Via sound chip vt1617a and I'm not getting any sound. I'm using Windows 2000, there are no hardware conflicts and no audio options in the bios 🙁

any help would be greatly appreciated

Just in case anybody else has the same problem and stumbles across this, the solution is to jumper 2 connectors on the motherboard to direct audio to the back connector. Check the manual for which one.
