Hehe... the price is silly but really crazy to see this unreleased card.

Looks like it comes with a CT4390 and CT4540 with the original RAM upgrades as well.

Looks like this is an add-on board for the AWE64 Gold II

Are there crazy enough Creative collector for such price? Probably not.

Amazing to think that things like this still turn up. For $20k I'd like to think it'll be there for a long time... But I honestly wouldn't be all that surprised if someone bought it.

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Yep, I've known about it for a while from the official sound blaster milestones page:
https://www.soundblaster.com/about/

I never knew any made it into the wild though and I never even heard, much less seen, a pic of the digital connection board.

Uhg... that page is embarassingly bad. There are so many errors. And it is the manufacturer's website... the mind absolutely boggles. 😐

Anyone know what it can do? The board itself seems pretty dull...it just looks like a regular AWE64G with more memory.

If I had to guess it probably offers little or nothing over a CT3670 with lots of memory.

Well, with the CMS2 AC-3 board it is supposed to do surround-sound. As far as I know, that is the only real advantage to it.

According to this page, the AC-3 card has a 96KHz DAC.
