I just thought they were cool. Haven't seen these style MIDI boxes in decades. Used to have one for my Amiga 1000 back in 1986-87ish. Glad these were saved as they were on the way to being recycled and they just happen to be in very good condition.

Monkey island, space quest and a few select titles on the Amiga. Are MT32 compatible. (Just a tip for those that did not know)
Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.

Yeah everything claims to be mt32 compatible. Thing is there are mt32s that aren't mt32 compatible for our purposes.
