I am looking into buying an old version MT32 the one without the headphone jack which will be connected to my MPU-IPC-T card and break out box but I will be running it on a Pentium 3 450MHz so no doubt I will get buffer overflow problems on the MT32, besides turning off external cache and maybe CPU cache is there other ways to eliminate buffer overflows on my system? I know of a dos slowdown program "Throttle" that is safe to use as it doesn't use "software" to slow things down but is hardware based. Or should I consider building a 486 just for the MT32?
