Sooo.. I ran across a random lot of cards and one of the cards is marked AV207. After some research, I found that this is a Zoltrix Audio Plus 1600 v.3.

The manual states that there is C/MS support and the chips on the card seem to support this.

I just have to wait for it to arrive to see if that is really the case.

I was only able to find a single page with pictures of this card:

Anybody ever use one of these cards?

Looks like a pretty close clone of the SB1.0 with a CDROM controller tacked on. Don't see the Philips SAA1099 chips you'd need for CM/S though, just OPL2+DAC clones, a bunch of 74-series TTL stuff, op-amp and the 8051...

Forgot about the Philips chips.

Here is a link to the archived page with the manual. Both v.2 and v.3 show "C/MS" support. Then again, the board layout in the manuals is not correct either. The layout is for a different version of the board.

Yep.. if you go to the web page that has pics of those cards, the layout in the manual is the AV206.

Looks like Zoltrix was being rather messy. If your card corresponds to the pic, I'd say regardless of claims on site or manual, it's a mono SB clone without C/MS. How sure are you about the pic? Was the seller's pic clear enough to see the layout is the same as here, or could it possibly be different? I'd say wait and see what arrives 😉

Seller's pic was definitely clear enough. I asked them for a better pic since the original was really bad. It is the same exact card.

Also, the Zoltrix site and the manual both state that it is stereo.

I wonder what one has to do to get a single N backwards on a board layout. Both images show the same thing: look closely at "MADE IN CHINA" in the top left. Is that more likely a production mistake, or could this be an illegitimate clone of a clone?

That's as may be, but that KS8001 is an OPL2 clone, not OPL3, and there's only one on the board, so that's just one channel of FM synth.
