You should buy it.

It was never released to the public. Likely that those are the only cards that exist.

Wonder if the seller is trustworthy enough though? 😒

Those cards have been posted there for quite a while.

And is is "only" $1,300 for what looks like to also have a AWE64 Gold with the 24MB upgrade.... waaaaay too rich for me, especially since it is really just an AWE64 Gold with more RAM, surround sound and a digital daughterboard... I think.

Sure would be interesting to see in action IF drivers are even available.

According to the shop page, the seller is a graphics card collector:

Never understood Creative Labs with the AWE64... The CT4560 could have been an upgrade to the original but not in the good way. I have a bunch of AWE64 and two AWE64 Gold.
The cons of the AWE64 is having a proprietary memory expansion port, no Wave Blaster port. There could have been a true OPL3 or upgraded to OPL4, but Creative Labs decided to keep their own CQM derived implementation in the EMU8000. And the CT4560 does not change that.
For the pros, cyclone3d mentioned it. A nice upgrade, but nothing fantastic. Especially for the price. But it is a cool collectible item.

My experience is to have used an AWE64 Gold with a Live! 5.1 Platinum in a P3 setup. Connected from the AWE64 MB_PRO to the Live! AUX IN allowing to have 100% SB PRO compatibility in DOS games with very little noise as the card allows it. But as said, 100% compatibility is not 100% the original Pro experience. Better that the Live! emulator (which is not bad anyway) and good enough for the setup, especially with more RAM through a SIMMCONN.

Knowing things is great. Understanding things is better. Creating things is even better.
