Ok so i had a windows protection error and i found out that by unstalling the vortex 2 from the device manager.

Anyway in the end i could not unstall it completely and ended up doing a fresh reformat and reinstall of windows 98se.

Ok so now i want to install the vortex driver again and the screen goes black again followed by a blue screen Fatal exception error 0028:c0027a5e.

By this point i cant restart and no button presses register.

I reboot by reseting the computer.

Starts up and looks for SB PRO emulation again.

Does not matter what i press all options i can choose results in a blue screen and freeze again.

Im on a intel i875 chipset and tried to install the chipset drivers first and after the vortex in hope of a fix but that does not work either.

Bare in mind this is a fresh win98se install with no crap installed.

Do i have to remove the card from the pci slot, reboot,unstall,insert card and reinstall it for it to work?
