I own this card but I got it free awhile ago and I have no idea what it is.
It's not a adlib, but is this like the 1st sound card or somthing?

It's a sound card alright!
Zero documentation on it I could find, but, funnily enough it is mentioned as part of a OEI 486 PC used in a scientific test:
http://laplab.ucsd.edu/technical/Target-Distr … 20Attention.pdf

In fact, it seems be used by this researcher quite a lot in experiments on insect behavior.

My google-fu is on point tonight!

Ok.. so I think I might have found some info on it... either that or a newer version of it.

Look here in the catalog.txt. It mentions a SoundCard-E:
http://annex.retroarchive.org/cdrom/psl-jan95 … _TOOL/SFXBLAST/

Found another vogons thread that mentions that the company also went by SiliconSoft
Replicas of Covox Speech Thing, FTL Sound Adapter and SiliconSoft SoundJr

A-HA.. found their old site that has a ftp link to the driver for this card... of course it doesn't work but the search continues:
http://www.siliconsoft.com/data1.htm
http://www.siliconsoft.com/ftp1site.htm

Not finding the driver for this card available anywhere so far.

Edit:
However in that vogons thread, it mentions somebody got ahold of the original designer and got the soundjr driver, so maybe you should try contacting the person listed on the siliconsoft web site. You may just be able to get the driver for that thing.

If you do, make sure to upload it here or to vogonsdrivers.org or in the vogonsdrivers thread.

Maybe also ask about the other software listed on the page.

On one of ^the link above, I see this:
If you want to write your own special Basic Language code for use with the card, it is as simple as you can get:

OUT &H388, 255 'Send out a byte to D/A
a%=INP &H388 'Get a sample from A/D

So it is a simple DAC (IN/OUT) Card ?

Cool. So it could be used in a similar fashion as a Covox device ?
I mean, provided that software (MOD players, TEMU) gets adapted for it ?

FreddyV will probably already support it in his ModMaster XT. It has a somewhat generic DAC support with adjustable I/O port.
