I comfort myself with the fact that I actually got the card for free back in the day, so all in all it was 150 euros profit. 😀

Yeah.. If I was selling something like that I would post it for parts / not working as well.

eBay is not very seller friendly and posting it like that means that a scammer can't buy it and then claim it isn't working and then send back a brick or some other junk and then have eBay refund them once eBay sees the tracking showing as delivered.

Really?
I would say that a card with OPL3 + 12-bit DAC was nothing special, others at that time were coming out with 16-bit, and sometimes with wavetable.

Though that surround option may be nice, indeed.
