Hello to you - I am new in this forum.

Some days ago a friend sent me a Logitech Soundman Wave Soundboard for repairs. It didn't got detected by the board and drivers.
I fixed the problem on the card and the card gets detected now.
My test rig is a DOS 6.22 system with an AMD Athlon Slot A 500MHz.
I removed my card (SB16MCD) and installed the Logitech for further tests. Installed the drivers I've got here in the driver support aerea, successful.
The GM Bank and FM/AdLib sound plays well. (i.E. with Midi Player MIDIER)
But the *.wav playback ist badly quick.
I tested it in some games too. WingComander Privateer: The Midi Soundtrack is nice, but the speech sounds nearly 100 times quicker. Like a tape that runs too fast.
In other Games like Schleichfahrt or Strike Commander - the same problem with speech playback or other digital sounds.
For testing ,I deactivated the CPU Level Caches (good for runtime issues) - no help. Gambling with IRQ's no help too...
I have no idea any more what I could do to play back wav's or ingame speech in correct speeds.

Have someone of you experienced a similar problem with this card? I cannot imagine this could be a hardware fault... I guess it's a driver or compatibiliy issue?
