like the Topic says, i wanted to know if my CT2950 model has the OPL3, or the CQM chip.
I doesn't see a "Yamaha" font on any chip.
Is there a chance that it have it?
Because this list says, it's possible.

no it does not. The solder pads where it goes are empty. (bottom middle, above the connector you see where it goes)

You can have a Yamaha OPL3 if you're good at soldering and swap out the chip like this: Re: I de-CQMed my AWE32 PnP CT3990...!
Nice Project, i can soldering but not good.
I would prefer to buy another Sound Blaster 16, but now i use my current card.
