Hello guys!
I have a problem with two sound cards: Reveal Sound FX RV82C929KT and Opti AD1845JP. Both with EIDE slot for CD-ROM. The problem is that i can't find any drivers for pure DOS utilization (6.22). Can you help me to find the correct drivers? And more, can you tell me about the functionality of integrated EIDE slot? I don't have any idea how to make it work.

Thanks!!!!

It think that under label there is Opti 82c829 chip, so probably those drivers will be suitable.
Second one is Opti 82c925 so look here.

Integrated IDE slot is just for CDROM. There should be driver (*.sys file) for enabling it in config.sys. Installation program should ask, if you want to enable CD-ROM.

1) VLSI SCAMP /286@20 /4M /CL-GD5422 /CMI8330
2) i420EX /486DX33 /16M /TGUI9440 /GUS+ALS100+MT32PI
3) i430FX /K6-2@400 /64M /Rage Pro PCI /ES1370+YMF718
4) i440BX /P!!!750 /256M /MX440 /SBLive!

There is no such thing as an "IDE just for CD-ROM". You can connect any IDE device to it. When using Win9x or later, it will even work out-of-the-box.

For DOS, it's more complicated. A CD-ROM or a Zip drive will work just as it would on the primary/secondary IDE channel. Hard disks won't, as the BIOS won't detect them - unless you run XT-IDE with support for all four possible IDE channels.
