a) I did not know Aztech used cloned OPL3 components
b) I had never seen an authentic OPL3 coupled with a clone LS-215 DAC

EDIT: Still makes you wonder how that might have happened . I would have imagined a manufacturer would have ordered the same number of YMF262 as YAC512 as they are only usable as a pair . I wonder if Yamaha sold lots of one but not the other without growing suspicious or caring .

I have seen cards with OPL3 copies like FT6116-100 or LS-212 but with original YAC512. I even have an Avance Logic ALS100 with the former. Surprisingly good card btw.

There's also the LS-262, which seems to be an 1:1 clone of the OPL3 (YMF262)..
