That sounds awesome!

EDIT - can you give an estimate of the dimensions? I'm wondering if it can fit on my Avance Logic ALS100. In centimeters please, for us Europeans.

Looks good in terms of length. I am a bit worried though since my ALS100 has some rather tall capacitors below the wave table header, so I'll probably get one of your gameport to wave table adapters, just to be safe. That would also allow me to put this on the AWE64 and the YMF724 which is great.

Anyhow, put me down for one when you do the first batch.

Dream used Roland samples without permission 😀
Roland filed a lawsuit, and finally they settled everything. After that the GS logo appeared on many products with the Dream synths/ROMs.

Another quick demo : playing rise of the triad in DOSBox, and connected to Yucatan FX using midi interface : 'Goin' Down The Fast Way'

I have made some Rise of the Triad in-game recordings with both the GMS963200B bank and a SC-55 mk2 - same machine same settings and recording system, same everything.
So everyone will be able to judge how close to the roland hardware this is and if it suits their needs.
There ARE differences of course - it's totally different sound engine and fx processors , different chipset in other words. So hear for your self 😀
Tracks are 192kbps mp3 files so the forum player can use them.

There are definitely differences between the two; in particular, the Yucatan seems far more bass-heavy. Is that just the result of using that synth and sound set, or was that specifically one of the goals for the design? It seems a little excessive to me.
