I like to run a system with a EWS64 XL as Sound Blaster Pro. My MPU-401AT should do all the Midi on 330 IRQ2/9.
As OS i just want to use DOS 6.22 with Win3.11 .
So i installed the EWS64 XL like the vogons wiki say: https://www.vogonswiki.com/index.php/EWS64 .
On start i load the Blaster, than SWINIT with uploading a basic soundset and load a mixer setting.
Anything fine, midi and SB work without problems.

After i plug in my MPU-401AT SWINIT dont start any more on boot. The PNP tryes to change setting but failed. Of corse because the MPU use the same address as the ews64Midi (330).
Now was my first idea to change the midi port of the ews64 with ews64cfg.exe to 300 with a free IRQ. The programm say anything fine and write it to the card.

But after a reboot anything is gone again with same result EWSINIT dont load.
So for my understanding, when i start EWSINIT on boot all my settings from ews64cfg are gone? Or is there anyother conflict?
Is there any way to deactivate the Midi part of the EWS64? Or have i to change the MPU to a different address ?

Anyone running same or near same system ?
