just a riser from some OEM system that has the soundchip on it instead of the motherboard itself... I've seen it before but I don't remember which system it was.

Oh, hey.. I actually have one of those and pretty sure I have the motherboard that it goes to as well.
It really should work in any ISA system though from what I can tell. I haven't tested it though. I am pretty sure I don't have the breakout cable for it.
yeah I don't see why it wouldn't work in another board, the ISA connections looks to be just that ISA, and all the audio is probably handled through the pinheader.
