Currently going thru and documenting parts of my collection for a possible "come back".
Came across this card during my progress:

Has anyone here any experience in this card? It can be upgraded with 2 MB DRAM for midi samples and has SRAM sockets for 3D sound buffering.

Weird... I like oddities like this. You made me go find and buy one. Already has the DRAM upgrade. Looked at the manual and it doesn't specify what the SRAM is for but I plan on adding it at some point.

Where did you see that the SRAM is for 3d audio buffering?

Edit: Found the driver pack for this card... Looks like the regular Meastro-1 drivers will work for this card.

Hehe, couldn't resist? 😉
It's quite an exotic card which have caught my attention now after I've had it for over 10 years in storage.

Saw the info about the SRAM here https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-collectible-ASU … d-/283417074283

Thanks for digging out the drivers and manual

HA... That's the listing I bought the card from.

Edit: I added the datasheet up above.

It says the Maestro-1 supports 1-8MB Wavetable memory in ROM, DRAM, SRAM, FlashROM or system memory. That makes me wonder if a much larger DRAM chip would work in it.. if they exist.
