This is a continuation of the 2017 post of the same title, located at True Roland MT-32 music in X-Wing CD... possible?.

The 1993 floppy release of X-Wing featured the original MT-32 music it was composed for, with General MIDI as an option, converted from the MT-32 originals. The 1995 CD release, sadly, removes the MT-32 originals and replaces them with a twice-converted version of the General MIDI tracks.

In short, only the floppy disk (1993) version of X-Wing contains the original MT-32 music.

Does anyone know of a patch to get the floppy MT-32 tracks back onto the CD version? I'm sure this is possible to someone with the technical ability, but surprised it hasn't been done before.
